Stibbe is a forward-thinking law firm and we saw audio as a logical extension of our visual identity. A distinctive audio identity helps to strengthen our brand positioning. Moreover, reliability is an important value for us and it helps if you can present a consistent sound.

Which values did you want to reflect in the musical identity?

High-quality legal advice is in the details. That sense of refinement was very important to us. The human aspect is also essential for good legal services, and we wanted to reflect our ‘personality’ as well. Additionally, we are leaders in knowledge and daring to take new paths to tackle complex legal issues; the result, therefore, needed a few innovative elements. And at the same time, we love a playful wink.

Stibbe sounds modern, jazzy and refined, with light tones and airy melodies. The two main instruments, piano and violin, engage in a playful dialogue with each other. The unusual time signature keeps the listener on their toes and provides a musical wink. The electronic effects finally give a modern twist.

How do you look back on the process and collaboration with TAMBR?

By now, our entire office is well informed about our musical identity, which TAMBR contributed to with various sessions.
